CV Carbs (slight delay)

Last time I rode my bike was in 2008, I just had the bike tuned up and the carbs rebuilt, took it out yesterday to take some pictures of it and notice there is a slight delay when you open the throttle. Is this common on CV carbs?

What kinda bike is it? I know onmy cb450, the slides must slide effotlessly in their bores, otherwise itll cause issues. You may want to take the carbs apart and make sure everything is sliding smoothly. If not take some fine sandpaper to the bores and slides til everything is free.
