CX500 and GS450 Tank Dims

Hey!

I'm trying desperately to find a euro-style tank for a CB350, and fell in love with the CX500 and GS450/GS400. HOWEVER, I can't find the dimensions anywhere.

For the GS450 I'm thinking a tank like this:

The CX500 tank I was thinking of is this:

Thanks for the time!

I can't give you actual numbers, but having seen these tanks in person I can say that they're substantially wider than a 350 tank. The 350 motor is actually pretty narrow next to a lot of twins.

i can drop a cx tank on my 350 in the morning as long as i dont have to take my seat off

going to look monstrous on a 350 and you would have to widen the front mounts on the chassis

i will get a tank down in a bit (after a latte or 2 ) and take a pic

well i had to take the seat off lol

the tank is almost over the whole battery

That actually looks alright, talk about increase in range, kind of a euro endurance race look, with the right seat might be neat.

tell me what measurements you want and i will do them in the morning

i start my day with 2 double shot lattes

i have a machine right here at home

So that's how you manage to get up so early :) I would probably need 4 to function right.

hmm i dont know if you can put the word "right" and 4 double shot lattes in the same sentence

Hey!

Sorry for the late reply. My ideal dimensions are:

13" at the widest point
22" long
9" tall

Tunnel dimensions are close enough to the CB350 that I can make it work! :D

I'm stoked. Found a completely beat up one for an affordable price. Only 1 ding. Probably my best bet at this point, and just figure out how to repair the ding - it's less than 1/16" deep.

Thanks again, everybody, for your help. You guys are amazing and I'm stoked for this project!
