CX500 comstar wheel with cb750 drum hub?

Hi , im on a little project , trying to get 18-18" front back inverted comstar wheels on my CB750 1980 who has 16-19" wheels. The CX is shaft and the CB is chain/drum. Im wondering if i can dismantle the Wheels and swap the chain hub on the 18" from the CX

I dont have both in hand to compare the hubs but i would think honda would have them hubs with the same bolt patterns

the 18 from the cx is to narrow and was speced to use a 110 width rear tire

use a wider 18 inch rim from a 1979 cm

here like this only use the cb750 rear hub it will get you a fatter tire

So basically i would need 3 wheels to make one suitable 18"... Doable but pricey!!!!

if you have the chain drive comstar you should be able to use the hub from that

Then get the cm400 wheel for the rim and 18" cx spokes
