D.I.Y Clip-ons

Hey people, De Waal here from South Africa,recently bought a '82 CB 650 and gonna start the process of turning her into a cafe racer shortly.Currently collecting ideas on doing the rearsets and clip-on handlebars myself.

I'm sure this topic has been discussed,but any help,or redirection will be appreciated.
Anyone made their ,or any ideas on making your own clip-ons ?

Clipons are cheap. Altough i aplaude stuff build by yourself, clipons are nothing to fuck with. When youre asking, my opinion is your skillset/knowledge is not up for such things yet. Be safe, buy them.

Depends in what equipment you have.
you can get a steel lower triple tree of the same fork diameter as your forks and cut off the clamps and work them into some clip ons if you're a competent welder.

Just remember that (especially with clip ons) you will be leaning on the bars, and if/when a weld breaks in the middle of a turn you're.....fucked haha
