DCC Speedometer

Trying to wire up a speedo from Dime City...emailed them about my concern (wiring two turn signals from the stock CB750C setup-one for left and one for right into their one signal setup) and they said yeah you need one of these:

But they are out of stock, so I emailed and asked any idea as to when they will be in-stock and have not heard back.
Any ideas as to what size diode is required? A simple wiring diagram on how to wire it would be greatly appreciated.

I read somewhere else to use a 3 amp diode. Make sure they are turned the right direction, they are only a check valve in one direction.

The diode is only carrying current for the indicator light. 3 amp is way too big. 2 small 1/4 or 1/2 amp diodes are plenty for the indicator.

I understand it acts like a gate, allowing power to flow only in one direction...but how do you wire it(or two) up-series, parallel...?
Thanks!
