I've been meaning to pick one of these up for ages. I often have long stretches between rides and it would be nice to have this to keep the charge.

Do they ever go on sale? I know CT has a lot of sales, but I can't remember if they are ever reduced.

Mine is maybe not the cheapest, but I like the Optimate. Comes with leads to leave on the bike as well as clips. I plug my BMW in most days, but don't really need to for the most part as it has a good charging system and a HUGE battery.

I leave my battery in the bike plugged in all winter, but I do try to ride every month of the year. Last winter in Toronto it was just too damn snowy.
