DOHC cb750 mono shock cafe build

Sorry for the delay on any updates. Between work and a barrage of birthdays I haven't had much free time for the motor scooter. I got my seat finished, nite I just have to find somewhere that will cover my seat that doesn't charge a kidney and my first born. One thing I have been able to do is figure out my tail/brake light. I knew how to make the circuit do turn a single intensity LED into a dual intensity LED, the problem was finding a local place to get the resistors and diodes from. There's no more radio shacks around here... I was cleaning up the garage and stumbled across a little computer fan I had left over from a kegerator project and wouldn't you know it the circuit board in there is slap full of useful parts. I'm going to unsolder a bunch of pieces in the next day or 2 and get my tail/brake circuit squared away then jump into the wiring part for a little while

The green tank is off of a 76 cb. The guy I stole it from said it was a 650 but he didn't seem to sure. Only reason I say stole is because I got it for 100 bucks. Not one but of rust in it and the cap works. There's just a minor sent I need to pull out.

Well I lucked up and pulled a gravy job at work today so I got the whole afternoon to tinker on the bike. I finished pulling diodes and resistors off of the circuit board and found a resistor that had the right value to use with my tail light and a couple of appropriately sized diodes. So I made that circuit up. I decided since I wss in a wiring mode this would be as good a time as any to dive into the wire harness. Luckily it was all intact except for where I got rid of the start switch since it was toast when I got it. Other than that everything was unmolested. Time to change that.... I started with a huge pile of wires and just started tracing wires and clipping what I didn't need. I'll be saving all the connectors for when I start wiring everything back up so I can have a sort of factory feel to it. One I got everything I didn't need clipped of I was really surprised at how little it's needed to actually make this thing go vroom. For now I'm just going to get the absolute bare bones circuits run. Once that's all run the way I want I'll go back in and run the extra stuff like tail lights, brake lights, blinkers, ect.
