DOHC CB750k fuse relocation?

hey everybody, this is my first post here. i just picked up a 79' Honda CB750K for next to nothing, and while the bike runs and rides just fine, it's...well.......ugly. i am planning to do a simple cafe build eventually by tackling one bit at a time, and i feel like the first thing i have to do is the cockpit. i'm thinking clubman bars and mini tach and speedo--but i can't seem to figure out what folks do with those awful fuse boxes when they clean up the bar clamp area. is there another model with a comparable box i could use that can be mounted elsewhere? can i modify the existing one and just put it somewhere out of sight? if you hadn't guessed, i'm brand new to this scene so any advice is greatly appreciated.

If you're so inclined, you can make a few changes to remove the fuse box altogether. If memory serves, your solenoid looks something like that one that I've attached. If so, that fuse is the main fuse and all power is routed through it. Your electrics will still be protected (drop down to a 15A or 20A fuse) using only that fuse. On the down side, if you do blow the fuse, the whole bike is without power and not just one of the circuits.

If your solenoid doesn't have a fuse, you can go with a single inline fuse and get the same effect.

I just got that solenoid in yesterday. So, with that, can I run both the fuse block and it?

Yup. Or skip the fuse block entirely and just use the fuse in the solenoid.
