Thank you Brother pawn! The rear axle is stationary, I am building an adjustable idler gear that will be hidden underneth the chain close to the rear of the engine.
I want this bike to be really clean, that is why I designed the tail section to have the frame recessed into the bottom of it so that it could not be seen and is also why I designed the axle mounting area to have the axle hidden.
I am going to weld and smooth the outside of the engine mounting bolt holes in the frame as well and thread them from the back side instead of running a stud all the way through the frame, this way I can bolt the engine into the frame from the back and the engine mounting bolts will not be seen. I am also going to hide all of the wiring, etc.
