eBay oil pumps - How risky?

Le oil pump turned up c'est evening. Will rip it open to see what I won tomorrow.

It's filthy! Hopefully the oil that it pumped wasn't ;)

Bollox! Couldn't be bothered to wait, put 20 secs of charge into the impact driver and spun off the bolts. Here's the rotors, flipped over for each pic:

The results:

1. Top with dots has scuff marks but not hugely noticeable, only just feel it with the fingernail.
2. Bottom without dots has more scuff marks of a similar depth.
3. Outside rotor has 2 rings on the outside that I can feel with my fingernail. Inside surface has a small cut on each left side lobe and some pitting marks that cannot be felt with the finger.
4. Inside rotor has 1 pit on each lobe (probably caused the small cuts) but that's it.

What do you all think? Keep looking? Worst case the housing can be used as the old one is pretty damaged on the rotor surface.

Plan on getting an Acewell which has a pressure light, will connect the sensor to that.

Looks like cam chin started sawing on block.
Clean out all the bits of alloy and check rotor tips for pitting.
Oil pressure switch is only 4psi IIRC
Checkoil pressure regulator for bits, rust, etc

PJ tips are good but have 1 solitary pit on each which has translated into a scratch about 1mm long on the inside of the outer rotor. Outside it scuffed but not too deep to be able to catch on my fingernail too much.

What do you think, buy another one? I wanted a new housing as mine is scored to bits. Just want good rotors too.

What do you mean by the pressure regulator, the thing with the spring?

Can I mix and match parts between both oil pumps to use the best bits?

Yep, stops pump delivering too much pressure
I would/have.
Use the best bits you can find between multiple pumps, sometimes you can end up with better than stock

Whats your recommendation on the rotors PJ, should I get some sent over to you if I can find some? Happy to have a couple of goes if I can find them cheap enough. Should end up with something reasonable between all that lot hopefully.
