I am blacking out a CB500 engine. I will be sandblasting and degreasing it. Is high temp primer necessary? Will priming provide substantially better paint adherence/durability?
Sand blasting isn't recommended, soda blasting would be the best bet because it is water soluble. Never know if the sand would be fully removed. Primer is always a good idea. Assembled engine or in pieces to reassemble after paint?
