engine swap

Been Around the Block
Hi i'm new in here, and from denmark. I have a cb350 and a cj360. Both engines are worn, so i a looking for an engine that could fit in either of the two frames, but will be easier to find spareparts for. Is that possible.

350 does not fit into the 360 and the 360 does not fit into the 350. Unless of course you're willing to fabricate engine mounts. Same goes for any other engine. Sorry bud, no easy way out of this one. Better off rebuilding what you have. The parts supply for those engines (especially the 350) is massive. Cheap and easy to refresh. Best of luck, amd welcome to DTT!

Just about anything you could need is readily available, especially in Europe. www.cmsnl.com is in the Netherlands.

the frames of a CB350 and CB360 are different. The CB350 frame rails around the bottom of the engine are at different elevations. the CB360, they are the same.

You can make a frame for one or the other, but for both would be a frame full of unused mounting tabs.

Thanks, i know that those two engines dont fit each other, i just like the 360 frame best, and was hoping that i could use another engine in that frame. my problem is the head which are worn, on all three engines :-s and that part is not so easy to buy. i have tried cmsnl.nl. and they have all parts. but i cant find a complete head.
