My first post !
So after many many days of research I decided to build my own fiberglass seat pan for my 75' CB550F. Everything went very well other then a few air bubbles I had to fix with bondo after it all dried. I also used bondo flatten out the top of the pan and get it ready to foam.
I really like the wrenchmonkey seats but not sure what type of foam to use. I tried to work with neoprene but it seems too stiff, it doesnt wrap around curves as much as I like it to. I have built stock DIY sets before with carpeting foam which is easier to work with, but I want this new seat to be perfect...
Does anyone have any tips and techniques on how to foam this fiberglass pan ?
Thanks !
