Finally got the ball rolling...

after sitting for months, due to being uber-busy...i finally got around to repainting the tank and side covers.

also tackled the nightmare install of the clubman bars. i have no idea why anyone said that swap was easy...it's not by a long shot. i hope i can get that rats-nest of a wire loom back together in the headlight bucket so the bike runs again.

anyhoo...i know the paint color/scheme probably isn't everyone's cup of tea here...but i had full run at my buddies body shop, so i picked a sort of "combo" of two colors that were "semi-stock" on the cb500...

the base color is "planet green" by house of kolor...with "spanish gold" candy by house of kolor. the flames on the tank are "tangerine" candy by house of kokor as well.

any comments would be well received. thanks for looking all!

Outstanding! I'm not a big flame guy but those look fantastic and I'd take that bike over 90% of the rattle canned Noel-esque master peices on this site  ;D

all of the new emblems i ordered from honda showed up this afternoon but one...

i'm a little bummed that i have to wait more than two weeks for an additional side cover emblem...but i can still use the spares that i have.

*i purposely matched the flame color to the "F" in the side cover logo.
