I neither have an iPhone or a Firestone.

Ship me your phone and i'll run it over a couple of times for the cost of shipping

Who says that Firestone clown shoes are an icon? What a load of bollocks. They suck and have no place on a motorcycle - I may have mentioned that once or twice before..... :-)

Unique - as in all the other hipsters will buy one too. It's only unique if there's only one. Duh..

Really though, we should have seen that coming. Someone was going to do it and that business is just another in a long line of people looking to sell to the fashionistas.

Not like when I was a lad......... ahem.... Where are my freakin' meds? Nurse?

Rich you are always here for the comedic effect and I love it.

I just got my phone for Christmas and Wednesday was my birthday, I needed a cover. I like and bought this phone cover because its different then the outterbox ones you see everywhere. Looks like it will protect the phone well too. I'm your average guy and not a fashion freak by any means. Nothing wrong with buying something you like.

I do understand the frustration though with commercializing the cafe idea, and unfortunately it is inevitable. I remember when you couldn't buy parts, you had to make them.

I for one don't give a hot damn if somebody makes a buck selling a copy of a tire to someone else - but there are paid advertising spots on the page and this user has done no participating aside from hawking iPhone cases.

Mostly I crack jokes though so I can bolt outta here too if it looks like that's what I should do :)

No worries, you make valid points, they just don't apply to me is all I'm saying. To be honest I would prefer it was a Dunlop. :)

I don't think anybody objects to an iPhone case with tire treads on it (really, I hope we're beyond commenting on the aesthetics of an iPhone case) but it's the whole tribute to Firestone bit. Firestone tires jumped the shark a looooong time ago - about 2 minutes after the first person put them on a purported performance bike. Chops/bobs are one thing but don't stick slippery shoes on a cafe racer.

Anyhow - looks pretty thick - that's my only concern with the case. But then again I shove a Galaxy Note II in my pocket, so clearly size isn't a major concern for me.

Five minutes after seeing this thread I looked up iphone tire case on ebay and found a shitload of them for under $5 shipped. No, they aren't firestone tread but who really cares?

Well if they're not Firestone tread, at least the phone will stay where you put it - not slide all over the table. Rimshot please - I'm here all week.
