Is there any reason not to switch forks from right to left, effectively running each leg backwards from stock?
My RD400 has early RD350 disc brake forks. The caliper is mounted ahead of the fork leg on the right. I'd like to have the caliper behind the fork leg, which would put it on the left side of the wheel, while also keeping the fender mounts facing the wheel (in other words I can't just spin the right side fork leg on it's tube to put the caliper bracket toward the rear). The front axle appears to be centered or very minimally offset from the fork centerline.
Thanks
Chris
