hey whatsup everyone!
my names nic! im 19 and just recently moved to san diego.
anyways, im just recently getting into this style of bikes. and i love them!
im mostly a car kinda guy, i have a 1981 toyota corolla that i have been working on for the last 2..3 years.
i have come across a 81 gs450 and i want to start to modify it, with a swingarm and new front end first.
my dad had a gs1100 a long time ago and thats also what kinda inspired me.

Welcome to DTT nic! Congrats on getting a GS- they are great bikes (after the electrical problems are fixed of course).

I can't remember if it was posted here or GSResources, but look for a GS450 build by a guy called Scottychop. He did some pretty wild stuff to it......may be what you are looking for.

Hey Nic, just joined DTT myself, but a long time member of GSR and I followed Scottychop's thread that Rich mentioned all the way through, and I followed that over on the GSR... it's certainly an awesome piece of work!
