Coast to Coast
Hey all my name is Kevin . Found the sight looking for some info on my 73 cb350 . Don't know what the plans for it are yet but first thing is get it running .

Welcome to DTT Kevin! You should check in over at the PA roll call as well.

So what's stopping it from running?

Thanks Rich
Been lurking around here for a few days checking the place out and ya I plan on checking over there . Its been sitting outside since 1978 so it needed the obvious . I rebuilt the carbs new points and cleaned some connections . Got it to run but only one cylender seems to be working . The left side will get warm and the right side you can touch . Carbs need adjusted ?

Personally, the whole thing needs overhauled. Have you done a compression test yet? Most likely the carbs or a weak spark on the cold side.

Hey Kevin... again!

Ya as Rich said... A total overhaul may be in order. Those old 350 has some real bugs. And when one sits outside for 30+ years... uh oh.

Luckily, theres a ton of aftermarket support, and they are a pretty simple motor to refresh. Let us know what ya need. Us PA West folks are getting pretty good at tearing 350s apart. (youre welcome guys...) ha ha ha

Matter of fact, my garage is like the Bermuda Triangle for CB350's. Leave it in there long enough and it seems to come apart all by itself.......

ha ha ha... So true. One second your looking at one, next you go in for a quick bite to eat, and when ya come back... BOOM. Just a pile of scrap and parts.

Hey Kevin and welcom to DTT! There are some good cats doing really cool stuff with these old steel lumps up around your nec of the woods, but watch out for VonYinzer, he is a real class A asshole!

;D Just kidding, you should have no problems getting help and running with a cool crew from that area!

BTW, do you mind reducing the size of your sig pic.....it is rather large for a sig and gets confusing in threads, plus it takes up a good bit of room when you get to posting a lot....and you will!

Thanks for the great welcome guys and yes i will try reducing my sig pic , If I can figure out how . LOL

Welcome to DTT sasquach. The Pa West guys are a great bunch, and more than willing to lend a hand. It is true, Rich's garage is a black hole of cb350 parts, lol.

Right now I'm working on getting a parts bike off my neighbor . Then when I need stuff i will be looking around here . Glad I found you guys and the site . Seems like a buch of good people and a ton of information I am going to need .
