I am a new member but I have been a long time peruser of the bikes DTT and made up my mind that it was high time that I jump in. I picked up my newest project a few weeks ago and am stoked to be able to get started this one. I have been looking at the CX500s for quite a while and really like the way they look when Cafe'd out. After watching CL for a couple months I found one running and complete for a steal. $300 out the door. Plan is to get her back in street worthy state and ride for the summer and when the weather gets bad to do a full tear down. Here are a couple of shots of what I am starting with.
