hi guys, it´s michael.
my current project is a yamaha dirt bike, looking like a restoration but it´s a true frankenstein, made of different stuff i had laying around just to build the little enduro i ever wanted.
frame is a 1977 dt 125 e, engine comes from a 1971 ct1, some parts from a ty 50, gas tank 1976 dt 250 and the seat i believe is from an early dt 100, maybe 1970.
i did some mod´s on the frame to fit the parts. engine was rebuild with an electronic ignition.
not really a cafe or tracker, i know, but that will be one of my next projects.

Very cool bike! Welcome to DTT! Where in Germany are you located?

thanks guys, i´m düsseldorf, rhine area, near cologne.

here´s a pic of the bike that i started with, the 125 e (e for e-starter, which makes it necessary to carry a bulky 12 volt battery around).
i changed to the ct 1 engine because i like the 175er much more and i´m able to run it without a battery.

Welcome Michael!

The DTT collection of DTs continues to grow!
Your bike looks really great - I'm particularly interested in your changes on the electrical front as I intend to convert my bike to 12v and electronic ignition.
What components have you used for your bike?
