Glad you're up and running V-M!

The exhaust is the critical item in getting more power. The CAT is extremely restrictive.

I think every 'Ace' owner has had a different solution, but try to increase the overall length of the system if possible. A header internal diameter of 7/8" is about the optimum.

If I get the new OOracing exhaust, will it be a matter of unbolt the old, bolt on the new?

Cheers,
VM
I think it depends which one you go for, I ordered the stainless header and straight old school exhaust.

Should be arriving this afternoon, so I will get plenty of pics and review up later.

Ok so have been riding the ace around for about 3 weeks now.. and late last week I noticed little pools of fuel after the ace had been sitting overnight. It appears there is a leak at the fuel tap and via the bottom of the carb...

Any remedies to fix this?

It seems its leaking out Of the actual fuel tap and not the hose. And with the carb it seems its the hose on the very bottom and via the seal that connects the carb bottom bowl to the main carb

See if the nut holding the fuel tap is tight, but don't overtighten.

As for the carby, loosen the float bowl screws and progressively re-tighten diagonally in stages. Once again don't tighten too much.
