Joined to take as much knowledge as I can about riding, when I can't be out there on the road.

'78 GS550E. I'm looking to do some work to it this winter - New bars, paint, clean it up a bit. I have some questions, I will post them where appropriate.

Thanks for the warm welcome Maritime. Do you ride with any cafe groups in NB? Are there such groups there?

Haven't found any yet. I end up riding 2000 miles to WV to ride with Cafe guys I do ride with a few guys from work but they all ride a mix of way newer modern bikes. Non of them wrench on their own stuff, they pay someone else. I like fixing almost as much as riding and can't afford to pay someone. I need to find some people to wrench and ride with. If you make up this way next riding season give me a shout, I'll ride with ya.
