Hey all,
Been a fan of this site for a month now, so i signed up and am stoked to be a part of the cafe scene.
My current bike (1st bike ever) is an 82 XJ750RJ seca. An unlikely bike to turn into a cafe but I'm getting there.
So far I have done a round headlight conversion, new turn signals/markers, redone my forks and I'm in the midst of swaping the seat to a cafe style seat from a BMW model.

Here are some pics from before until now. I started in january.

After the seat I will swap the gauges for some round ones. I also have a 4 to 1 exhaust set up with a supertrapp that I will be installing soon.

What you think so far?

nice cleanup on those fork tubes! they look like new! (or you replaced them haha) ...i love the insturment panel, a big box... i would expect it to talk and have a red LED light and talk to me like Nightrider :D

good work on the scoot. any further plans for it?

Yeah man, it is a big box,LOL. But I'm gonna order some of Mikesxs.com gauges and have them on by next week or so. I have a spare parts bike, and the spare parts bike (bad motor) was kept in a shed for most of it's life. it is missing some parts though. Anyhow I just had new seals installed on those forks and then I swaped them to my running bike. I'm about to order a cafe seat from Airtech and mod it to fit my bike. Those are the plans I have for the near future. ;)

And thank you all for the warm welcome. Ease your xj is nice. I hope to get mine looking as good.
