Ground Resistance: First Round Wiring Pics

What the hell dude!? You should be working for a prop studio or something. The artistry and detail gets me every time. I see something new every time I look at those pics.

Nuckin futs man. I'd kill to see this thing in person.

Ahhhh. That is what I am talkin' about! I would rub my wiener on it, but I think I could get a steel sliver!! ;D

Thing looks outrageously rad-i-cool man!

Agreed. I'm saving up so I can meet you bastards. How long of a drive from MN? haha ::)

A bit less than Australia ;)

Hats off to you CS, I'm speechless. Great work.

Wow......just.....wow. I'd wanna wander all around it and check out the details but I'd worry about it biting me. Seriously, you can't ride this thing in regular gear...gotta have some tire tread body armor and a helmet mohawk!

Don't go giving him ideas Swag. He'll get all distracted and never finish the bike ;D

Re: Ground Resistance: First Round Wiring Pics

After taking pics for Tyler I decided to get back on the wiring. I still had to finish the solenoid mount, which required some welding. No go, my buzz box was offline. After a nice long irritating tear down the problem got worked out and I again had a working welder, but no desire to use it. I needed a little break.

I came back inside, looked around DTT, and realized that I hated the overall pics with the rusted can hanging off the tail. A few hours later the can finally had a functional latch and permanent mount. Some paint completed the look, and now I have a finished can with an unknown purpose. Tool roll maybe? You tell me.

That led me to some striping on the tank. I still need to detail and distress it, but I likes it just fine.

So thanks to Tyler I barely worked on the electrics today, but got some good stuff done. Now back to that damn solenoid... Does anyone know if it was rubber mounted for grounding reasons, cause I'm making a metal mount.

Re: Ground Resistance: Biohazard!

Speaking of latches. Have you taken any shots of your seat latch?

Glad I could help!

Funny, I was going to comment that that can looked off. It looks terrific now. I like the industrial touch of the striping, too.

A stash of emergency whiskey goes in there. That can not serve any other purpose as far as I'm concerned.
