GS750 (8 valve) tank

Looking for a tank to fit 1977 GS75O 8 valve model that isn't rusty as a handcart inside or too bad on the outisde. All the ones on e-bay show heavy rust inside and i've already got one like that. The tank dosen't have to be off a 750 but from what i've found out not much else'll fit and if by any far out fantasy chance the tank is fitted with a locking fuel cap then so much the better.
I'm in the UK but willing to pay international postage for a good item. 8)

I have a tank off of my 16v '81 750 I think it has a little surface rust in it although not bad at all. If ya like I can throw some pictures up for ya after I get home later this evening?

Thanks for replying but the 16v tank tunnels are wider than the 8v ones, someone on Old Skool tried that line of attack but thanks for the thought.

You mean your 8 valve GS doesn't have a triple backbone like this?

Simliar but mine narrows more toward the back of the tank and has a single bolt tank fixing. Someone on Old Skool had a 16 valve model and had measured up an 8 valve 850 tank for it and found the tunnel was too narrow and the 850 8 valve tanks are wider than the 750's to allow for fuel gauge.

Do you know what the tunnel width should be on your 8v tank?
