Been Around the Block
I just installed new Hagon Road Shocks on my 79 CB400 Hawk. I'm happy to report I am very impressed. Hagon took the time to consider my weight, riding style, etc. The result is the best road shock on which I have ever ridden. I'm happy using the softest pre-load setting. The ride is somewhat firm, but never harsh. This is compared with the DCC shocks on my 75 GT380 which are fairly stiff for that bike (but still give a nice ride) At $199 shipped, the Hagon shocks are roughly twice the price of the DCC shocks, but in my opinion, well worth it.
