Working my Honda CB360T, 1971.
I purchased a headlight bucket, trim rim, and visor; now I'm scratching my head as to how to assemble this with my existing headlight. I'd rather not purchase a new headlight since this one still work and fits my existing wiring.

The bucket came with clips, and a screw with a plate. Below are some closeups of how I think the clips go in. Anyone familiar with this setup? In regards to the clips, does this look like the proper orientation?

This to me, looks correct, in regards to how the light would sit on those clips.
The concern I have is that there doesn't seem to be anything that actually holds the bottom of the light from popping out. Yes, there is a screw and plate that I think would go through the top. It looks like it would go through the hole in top of the bucket and then bolt onto the top of the light, shown below. You can see the screw and plate I refer to, lying on the towel in the 3rd photo above.
Here's how I think the screw would attach to the light; although it would be coming through the top of the bucket.
I actually have not been able to get it assembled this way yet since it's a bugger of a time trying to get the plate in place while attaching the light, ring and bucket together and then trying to get the screw down through the top hole. I'm thinking I might have to hot glue the screw plate onto that flange on the top of the light so that it will stay in place with I assemble it all together and then I can drive the screw into it???
It seems to look right; should I expect to see so much gap between the bulb and the ring? Once it gets screwed in place it possible may pull it back and take up some of the gap.
