Not new to bikes. Been building my own stuff for about 12 years. Everything from choppers, bobbers to cafe racers. I hurt my back a few years ago and can not ride rigid frame bikes so I am only in to cafe racers at this point. I am currently building my 3rd one out of an 82 CB750. I am near done with it. Just waiting on new carbs to come in this week and I should be able to fire it up and start tuning. I am by means no expert motorcycle mechanic and am always looking to learn. I see it as we all can keep learning and everyone has something they can teach. I look forward to checking out everyone else and their builds and sharing details of mine.

Thanks. Not really looking for any projects right now but I would LOVE to own an RD400 one day. I had a Suzuki T350 a while back and love riding two smokers. I have my DOHC 750 I am finishing up and also I have a SOHC big bore bike that I have been saving to build for about 10 years. I do not have space for another bike right now. Or the money... :-[ I will put up some pics of a couple bikes.
 
Here's the first cafe racer I built. It was for a friend of mine and he helped out on the build too. I just did the fabrication of the tail section/seat pan, fitted the forks and rear wheel, and fitted the rear sets. He did all the assembly work. The paint and upholstery were done by someone else.

Welcome to the Ton ! Nice looking bike got to love seeing R1/6 Yamaha wheels on a Honda and looking good doing it !!!
 
Thanks. Those were actually cbr600rr wheels and forks. Hard to tell the difference though. I like doing these swaps. My newest project has gsxr wheels and forks. I like keeping the dual shocks and swingarm though. I see a lot of swaps that dont. Just my preference. Thanks for the compliments though. I still like skinny laced wheels and traditional cafe racers too though. My next bike will be a more traditional style.
 
LOL my bad was on my phone when looking and there 6 spoke not 5 LOL
