First off I'd like to say I really like the forums you guys have going here. I've already stumbled through a few threads and they amount of information available here is astounding so I had to get involved (plus, we've all got a similar interest here so I'm sure I can find at least one person to talk to about riding and motorcycling in general).
My bike? A '71 CB750 that I got from my grandfather for a whole dollar. It's not in the best condition, but it is in amazing condition considering it's age and the fact that I've watched this motorcycle for my entire life growing up before owning it myself (for years and years it sat in a musty old barn outside of my grandparents house, how cliche, right?)
It runs. It rides. Just not currently because it needs a new rear tire and a new battery (as well as a few other things here and there that I know I need to take care of). And on top of all of that, I've felt the itch long enough, and I'm ready to look into modifying this baby (before the clubman style bars I put on it, it was bone stock). I have a relative idea what I want to do with it. Mostly cosmetic mods with a few performance/general maintenance mods are really all I have planned. I say cosmetic, but let me assure you I'll be removing/modifying a lot more than adding.
As it's currently too dark to take pictures (I just got home from work and decided to join the forums) I'll have to upload some tomorrow, but rest assured I'll have a few up soon.

That's it for the most part other than the custom tail I've been considering making.
But at any rate, I hope to get along with everyone here as well as show up to meets if I can make the trip/if there's a meet close enough. 8)

*I currently daily a 90's honda rebel 250 that a friend isn't using, but I'd like to get the CB up and running within the next few weeks that way I can daily it instead. I don't know if I ever want to own a car again to be perfectly honest.

- cb550 (or is it 500?) dual brake front forks (for looks, stance, and a general upgrade since mine is the mono brake.)
- 78 cb750 rear swing arm (preferably with the rear disk brake for obvious reasons)
- clip-ons
- rear sets
- 4-to-1 exhaust (I currently have the awesomely stylish 4-4 exhaust and honestly the only reason I want the 4-1 is because of looks and slight power gains, if any.)
