New guy here, just found this web site and think its great. Look forward to learning as much as I can from here. I have a question about size, Im 6ft 220lbs and have found a Honda Cb500t for cheap. Would this bike be big enough for me. I will be riding it to and from work and around town. I drive 2 miles to work. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum, which part of TN? I've noticed two new guys from TN register lately, I'm located near the U.S. 129 Dragon in Maryville, TN.


A 500 would be fine just to bop to work and back, but you'll definitely want a bigger bike if you were to plan on taking many decently distanced rides. I'm 5'10 220, and my brothers GS425 is just way too light and too awkward of a power band for me the enjoy for more than just town rides, a 750 or 600+ would suit you much better in that aspect, but again, for work and back, and just local town riding, i'm sure it would be a perfect bike for that, and very economical.
