Hello from East Coast US!

Hello! From East coast of the US, specifically a little place called Delaware. 17 years of age, been riding motocross since I was 6 and crossed over to motorcycles just this past year ;D

Here are a few pictures of my new project...a 1974 CL125 Scrambler !

Spent a couple months cleaning it, it was an absolute mess when I received it for the low price of....free! Got it running and it just passed DMV inspection last week. Plan to get it tagged before the summer roles around.

However I am not sure if I should attempt converting to a cafe racer. Thoughts on this anyone?

Welcome to the board!
I would cafe it... but that's me. I've always wanted a smaller displacement cafe to throw around. I'd keep the pipe, lose the guard, clubmans, a nice tiny solo seat with rounded bumpstop, maybe a different tank, cut the front fender, lose the rear, install a cone filter and properly jet the carb, cleanup the motor, paint to taste and... ta-dah! cafe racer!
... but that's just me. ;D

Thanks for the welcomes . Looking at all the bikes on this site make me only want to go out and see what other finds I can get, and hopefully start on a cafe racer...one that's bigger than a 125cc ;D

Had some titling problems...having to jump through some hoops to get this thing on the road. Hopefully will be running for the weekend when it should be a sunny 80 degrees out 8)
