Hi everyone,
Recently purchased my CB500T bike (Hondas bastard child of the CB450 ;D ), not the fastest bike with not the best bhp but lots of torque, which oddly is what I like and what I was looking for.
The project will not be a pure cafe racer for example I won't be having a seat cowl as I would like a two up bike, the real requirement is that the bike be a jack of all trades, look good but not be too polished. I do not commute but the bike will be used all year around until it reaches -5 (so yes heated grips for example will be present).
There are practical reasons for having cafe race bars/clip-ons other than racing, I sometimes will have to do a long journey of 200 miles, determined not have a fairing it is difficult to keep upright on a conventional bike for such a long time period of time, and being tucked in sure helps.
Anyway look forward to sharing my endeavours and experiences!
