Been lurking here for a few weeks admiring some of the bikes. Learned about this site from one of the Mods I met at a bike night. Anyhow no project as of yet, But I am picking it up tomorrow hopefully and then on to my cafe build.

I ride am FJR1300 most fo the time, But I am trying to pick up a 1980 yamaha 650 special 2 ( twin cyclinder) almost teh saem bikes as the xs 650. I have thought about building a bopbber many times, but i think its going with an early cafe racer look. I should be picking it up today. I missed the guy yesterday becasue fo work.

I thought we were cool and then you go calling me a mod!!!!!! On a cafe site you have to say moderator or they will think I am rolling on a scooter and wearing a fucking scarf and cardigan! And just so you know, I am still a peon; I only moderate the Dirty South section, for our somewhat local area members!

Welcome aboard the big ship! Even though this site if big, we are still a close family here. Some of my best friends are on this site and live 1000's of miles away from me.

Oh and you WILL be going to barber, so go ahead and mark it on you calendar and make sure your off work!

I am pretty sure I can get a kitchen pass for barners, its only a 4 hour ride ofrm my house , So its no biggie for me to hop and and ride up for a day or two. i plan on coming. And sorry for the mod comment. Your a Moderator.... Fell better?
