well, i got it wrong the first time and had to take the bike back apart and open the enging, break the chain and I still can't get the damn timing right. the timing mark on the exhaust side is no problem, got it lined up. but the intake side mark is on existent. I've been given 3 different opinions and they were all wrong because when i try and turn her over by hand, i get about 95% of the way through a full rotation and it stops.
this is my first bike and i was hell bent on doing this myself but im giving up, i just wana ride damn it. anybody in the atlanta area who can help or recommend a good mechanic in the city who can help at a reasonable rate? i ave a spare motor if i need parts, i just dont know what im missing, maybe a bent valve?
also, i cant get it to stay at LT, it keeps slipping down 1 or 2 teeth...
