i have a 1977 cb750f sometimes at idle or if i rev the engine on the comedown it sounds like loose change in my points cover?? i adjusted my points prob 9 10 months ago is this a sign that i need to adjust again ? never heard anything like it. thanks for any help

A rattle could be a lot of things, and even though it sounds like it is coming from your points cover it may not be.
Have you taken your points cover off and had a look?
Has your cam chain been adjusted lately?

Yup, cam chain would be my guess,
but you should adjust your points way more often than every 9 or 10 months so do that too..
