help with hiding the battery

i want to hide my battey under the seat bump but i fogot about this(see photo) and now i dont see how im going to have room to but a battery under there. Any advice would be amazing.

do you have access to a welder? if so, you could chop it off and weld a flat brace across, one thats even with the frame rails. then you could find a seat cowl that the batter would fit in, and weld the battery box on top of the brace

Thats what i was thinking also, but will that interfere the with wheel tavel at all?

Here's what I did. I cut that piece off and had a friend weld in a plate and battery holder.
