my name is Ian, long time forum lurker, decided I should get off my butt and sign up. I write for a couple of motorbike blogs, historic & custom, and I love cafe racers.
I have a 1981 GSX250 twin that I rescued from a 10 year hibernation in a shed, and it had spent 7 years in another shed before that. When I got it, it looked like this:
Then it looked like this:
When I finished it looked like this:
Then one day my carbs started dumping fuel and now it looks like this:
Got the carbs rebuilt and put it back together. Fitted the tank back on last night, put the battery on to charge, hopefully should be right to kick over tonight,
