Hi my name is Jack and I'm a nonrecovering bikeaholic

YUCK

Driftwood
Hay all .......
JK turned me on to this site ,,, gonna check it out and post up my latest project ,,, a 1961 Matchless 650 basket case ....
Looking for some input on this one ,,, only thing I got to go on is Web pictures and a pile of parts .....
I'm an old chopper/bobber kinda guy and don't know much about cafe's ......

Welcome yuck! I'm a jap-bike guy, but if I were to have a cruiser... it'd be a pan without a doubt! I'll look forward to seeing some pics of the matchless as I've always loved those bikes. If only I could buy one, then I could pimp one of those sweet matchless shirts from metro!!!
Anyways, I'll see ya 'round dude!

Seems to me the Brit's are the grandfathers of Cafe .... Seen allota Cafed Matchless .... See ya around ........

Jack glad you came by man... i am telling you lots of great guys and amazing knowledge on here... not just cafes man just people that dig bikes... going to love watching this build!

Hi-Jack (can't say that in an airport) and I must say that is one very pretty pretty pan. I am into bobbers as well as cafes'. Got a 1974 Ironhead with hi-comp pistons, factory "P" cams, titanium valves, magnuson intake and weber two barrel carb. Also run a little nitro with my gas. Not bad for a girls bike........hahahha. Good luck with the Matchless. You might check the Unity Equipt website for some cool British stuff. Also, British Only has warehouses full of Brit gold. Hope your build goes easy...... after all...... your bike is.......MATCHLESS. Later, Dewey.
