Just ran across a bike that would be fun to build a cafe out of.
1978 xs750 in clean good running condition for $300. Bought the bike this morning. I have access to a waterjet and full metal shop. I'm going to do my first budget build on anything. I currently have a twin turbo 1000hp 2011 Camaro SS build going on as well as the finishing touches on a 94 Land Rover Defender 90. My last bike was a KTM 690 smc motard.

I'm going to hand make and junkyard all parts for this build. My goal is $1000. I'm sure I'm going to lean on your knowledge a bit.

Sounds cool, man. I'm looking forward to seeing what you can come up with. That Camaro project sounds cool too.

I think the Rover project is way cool and very rare but I have some vids up of the new motor in the camaro. Turbos and tuning might take a month or two.

I found a bike graveyard about an hour away. I can shape the seat/back any way I want. Got any ideas? I've seen some nice pics.
Maybe a vote on different looks. I can make it and have it ready for paint in 4 hour out of steel.
