hiding battery under seat.... what size wire for starter?

Hi there,
I am looking at hiding my XJ550's new LiPo battery under the bumstop seat of the bike. I was wondering what sized wiring should I be using to make sure that the bike starts ????

You're going to want to stick with the stock gauge wire from the battery to the starter solenoid / starter motor. The rest of the bike can feed off a much smaller gauge wire (I think I ran a 10ga from the battery through a single 20A mini blade fuse to a connector which feeds the rest of the bike).

But the starter draws a lot of current so you need the fat wire.
