Honda CB30 Signal Light issues???

Hello all,
Have a 74 Honda cb360 that is having some issues with the signal lights.

So, when the headlight is on Low the signal lights (both sides, front and back) are constantly on. When you flip the turn signal (lets say the right one) the right signals remain on (but constant, no blink) while the left signals turn off.

When the headlight is on High, the signals are not on and will not blink or light up at all when you flit the signal switch.

I bought it like this so I'm just looking for some places to look or to see if anyone else has had this trouble. The turn signals are not factory but they are still bulbs, the brake light is LED.

Any hints or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank - Brandon

the front lights on the CB360 are both running (marker) and signal lights. They have 3 wires. The marker lights are on with the low beam, off for high beam (Limited electric power). The signals are separate wires.

1. sounds like you put single element lights in and wires to the signal and marker light +12V wires, rather than signal wire and ground.

2. On stock, when you put the signal light on, that side marker light goes off, so the signal is more visible.

The signal light wires are Blue (Right) and Orange (Left). Green is ground. The ones with the white stripe are the running lights.

wire the new turn signals so one wire (usually red on after market) is to the slid Orange or Blue wire, and the other wire (usually black) is grounded and you lights will work properly.

If you have dual elements bulbs on front, like stock, you need to get the wiring straight, as you may have it hooked up wrong.

If you have a hacked up harness with different colors, you are on your own... If you have a voltmeter or test light, you can figure it out.
