Honda CB450 Carburetor Parts - Choke Valve, Connector-Thingy

So it turns out I am missing a couple parts on my CB450 carbs that are on my 360.

Judging by the pictures in the "1965-77 450 & 500cc Twins Service Manual", the carbs on my bike are the 4-Speed Keihin 14C and 14E

On my right (as if you were sitting on the bike) carburetor I am missing the Choke Valve (circular plate like part mounted on a shaft) along with the 2 screws that are used to mount it. I only have the shaft, which just slides around in the slot in the carb body.
I am also missing the "connector" piece that translates the choke position from the left carburetor to the right one on the shaft specified above. I guessed that maybe the PO removed it because of CB450 to CB360 interference issues in mounting. I would like to try and rig this back up just to see if it will work.

A brief search on the interwebs suggests that I might have better luck of finding a totally run down set of 450 Carbs for $30 MAX just to salvage them for these parts. So if you know of a junk set for cheap I am open to that as well!

Yes, if you want to replace the parts, it would probably be best to scavenge them off of a cheap set of carbs.

That being said, you don't really need the choke. I never use mine, even when starting it in 30° weather.

you may want to consider a salvage yard and score a few extra bits and make sure you have the right model carb bits for yours, or complete carbs to rebuild. they differ, i have 3 or 4 sets and they differ- i knew i shouldn't have put them in the same box :.....Dang..
