Honda cb500/ 550

Before i put these on e bay i thought i would see if any body here would like them. Well its a set of brand new RAASK rearsets for a cb 500/ 550. unused and still boxed. i will asking about £50 GBP. i will put some pics up soon. i have sold my honda and got the xs500 so dont need them any more and the money can finance a new set of silencers for my bike. oh i think post will be expensive though. but still worth it as they are xpensive new ... if they are still made. Any taker slet me know ;D

LOL.. I'll sell you mine for a bargain basement / fellow DTT Admin price of $6000...for everyone else, its $7500!! ;D
 
yes they come with mounting brakets. I will have to wait till the weekend to get photos as they are at a friends house. As i said they perfect condition and will bolt straight on. i had a pair on a GS 1000 good solid rests and well made.

Id be very interested!!.. Can you get me cost to ship to Toronto Ontario, Canada postalcode: M5V 3P4?
It just occured to me.. Any idea if its for the Cb550 K or cb550F model?.. they have different frames and I just confrimed with Ed at Omar's that the Raask mounting bracket for the K model will not fit on the F model cb550.

They are stamped cb500/550k..
 
Aw DAmn... Its not gonna work with my bike. :-[

here are some pics> fear my twin also wanted them but i think he has a cb500t and i dont think they will fit. Perhaps you an he could discuss it as i feel awkward choosing who will get them. The postage will be about £35 GBP so it is expensive so you will have to decide if its worth it. I could do it via paypal.

They had been sitting on a shelf for a long time hidden under a pile of old service manuals and the guy put them on e bay uk. Think they were an order that was never picked up.

Personally, I dont think that Raask set up will work to good on the cb550t.
Its a totally different frame set up and the frame bracket & rods wont work.
To make those 550K raask work on a 500T youd have to:
- cut & weld, (to lenghten/shorten) all the rods
- weld tabs on to the 500t frame or weld the frame brackets

Its kinda a big job. It would be cheaper just to get a set of rearsets from a Gixxer or any new sport bike on ebay ($40), then mount them using 4 exhaust clamp ($25)...

just my 2 cents... ;D
