Hey everyone! I have no idea how to fix my tank.
I have a 1980 Honda cm400t that I don't really want to put a lot of money into. It currently looks ok; although, I think the previous owner just did a rattlecan paint job; the tank has a small area near where it meets the seat that has a bit of rust. There is dampness in that area and the smell of gasoline which makes me think it's rusted through at least enough to cause a small hole/crack. I'll post pictures below.
If anyone knows how I could fix this it would be appreciated. I do plan to have the tank painted (a similar color to the red/burgandy that it is currently, but more) professionally once I fix a few other small cosmetic issues.....
