Bought this to start with.

within 3 weeks i have acquired another full bike, +2 tanks, a cafe seat, forks , discs, 3 wheels, 2 hubs, bars, mudguards, chains, new brackets for rearsets,a box of bits , all in various states of repair, an option on a box section swing arm(unused), and a Norton Commando gratis ;D.

I love the smell of degreaser in the morning!

pics shortly.

heh, Im going thru the same thing you are. The only thing stopping me from buying every cb360 that pops up on craigslist (whether it be a basket case or just odds and ends) is the fact I am virtually broke at the moment!!!

Its hard to know when enough is enough!

There's actually a clinical term for your addiction. It's called the Druro Syindrome. ;D

hrmmm

bone stock 400f except for those wheels....... how's the exhaust look? Funny that if you did a good resto job you could sell that thing to a collector and buy 3 bikes and all the cafe parts you need

exhaust is good, i may be able to lay my hands on a Yoshi or Pipercross.
Wheels are ,I believe , from an RD400 , when the wire wheels are useable , they can help finance more degreaser.

That's a great bike. I obtained three in about a month. Stopped myself from spending any money on "parts" bikes or the like, so that I could start spending money on the parts I actually need for my main ride.

ya, I dont really have a first motorcycle since I bought three as a package deal as my first bikes. I have to really try hard to exercise restraint when I see bikes on craigslist now. The way I keep from buying parts bikes is to think "sure, 300$ for a complete bike that turns over is a great deal, but think how far Ill get with 300$ put towards my current project!"
