Twist the "go-go" side and hold on!
I just joined up finally after lurking around here for a long time. I'm a Brit but after living in Austin TX for the last 6 years I just moved to NOrthern VA, just outside DC.
I've been riding for over 15 years and ridden all kinds of bikes here and there in many different places around the world. I just got my first project bike that I'll be doing solo after leaving my mechanic friend back in TX and I'll be posting in the project section on that. I tend to learn pretty quickly and I think I have a good technical mind - I'm a network engineer by trade - but my usual approach for something I don't understand is to take it apart and figure it out, then ask a bunch of dumb questions... I figure you learn more by breaking something once that not trying at all.
Anywho, I just wanted to say hi --- what do they say in NOVA? Still yet to meet a "local".
