Identify this mystery tank?

I have been lurking for a while. I received a 79 KZ750 from a friend. Her father passed and it was his. I had planned to finish his cafe racer vision, but when I had time I had no money and when I had money I had no time. Anyways, she had given everything bike related she could find not knowing if it belonged to it. I have had this tank sitting in my garage for a couple of years and I don't want to use it. In order to sell it, I need to know what it is from. At first glance it is from a Benelli Mojave, it is missing all the common mounting points of that tank. It doesn't seem to have been modified, but if it was it was done fairly well. It is in decent shape, and does not seem to have been mounted. I appreciate any and all help you guys can provide.

Looks like a Benelli. May be a repro.

LOL Thanks for the replies guys. I am confused. Say it is for a Benelli, is it not for a Mojave? The pics I have seen have had a bolt hole through the top and the front mounts were in the tunnel. Thanks again.

I have welded new mounts on tanks many a time. Just did it the other day on a RD400 tank.
