Ignition coil.. cb100.

So to start with, I'm not so hot with electrical stuff :o

Basically I have a put a different tank on my cb100n and as a result of it the ignition coil no long sits in the correct location. Basically the old tank had a rather large recess for it to sit in which the new one does not have. I contemplated hammering it in but I think it's waaaaay to big of a dint to put in it and also it's in a bit of a funny place. So I decided to just shift the ignition coil a little bit. The Philips headed bolts (which there are shed loads of..) were round off and so I ended up drilling them out. Now I have found a way of relocating the coil and other attached electrical thingamajig (condenser?) but I will have to leave out the little copper/brass spacers underneath the bracket. Now I'm hoping I don't need them.. but I probably do? Would it be the worst thing in the world bolting it straight to the frame?

Cheers

Rob ;D
