locOleoN
Is that the best you got? OK.. now my TURN...
So... with having 5000+ members from all over the world, I think it’s about time to formally introduce the DTT Admin/Moderator team.
Everyone seems to think that this place is run and managed by Tim and myself when in fact there are a few people behind the scenes working diligently promoting, organizing, etc..etc.. all of which makes DTT the place we all know it to be.
With our significant growth in the last few months I think we should formally introduce the team so everyone can put names to the faces that makes this place work... Without further adue… The DTT Admin & Moderator Team:
Tim - Cofounder & Technical Muscle Guy...
- Tim is single handedly responsible for setting up the entire DTT infrastructure and layout when we needed a new home.
Every time we need to make any change to the forum or technical infrastructre, Tim is the man...
locO leoN - Cofounder & Chief Big-Mouth...
- I do nothing but cause shit whenever I open my big mouth...
You all know what I look like so I’m not gonna put up a pic... ;D
Mortikan - Moderator DTT East Coast
- Morti has been a Moderator of that group since as long as I can remember.. He organized and promoted that section of the forum with many of the local members
go! - Moderator of the "Big Arse Projects" section and all its sub boards...
- With all the new build threads being posted in that section, it’s almost impossible to find and keep track of any particular build.
She has decided, on her own to take the initiative, to sort through all the threads and index them in one master thread by bike type and link each build to the original thread!!
WOW.. what an amazing idea!!.. This make is easier to for anyone interested in a particular model bike to see all the builds of that make!!..
So we made her a Mod… She’s planning to index all the projects by bike types among other things…
I should also mention that she does engine teardowns and rebuilds, welds and fabricates!!... so Id’ be careful gents…just because she’s a girl, she could probably out build and out ride 90% of us…
Kuyarico – Moderator of the DTT Ohio members
Like Mortikan, Eric has been a mod since practically back in the early days when we walked to school bare foot up-hill both ways…..etc..etc..
Eric is has been promoting and managing the Ohio board and has been instrumental in getting the Ohio DTT guys organized…
Proteal55 – Moderator of the DTT Chicago Members
This bad boy is also the president of the Half-Fast Chicago Group: http://www.halffastchicago.com/forum/index.php
Joe is well known in many of the bike forums, for his fab & building skills… I like to think that Halffast Chicago is what DTT could inspire to be if we could only get our asses in line and get organized!!..
DrJ – Moderator of Vintage Jackets & Helmets section
What can I say? This boy is all style.. it never ceases to amaze me how all the chicks seem to drawn to DrJ aka: The Virgin Surgeon, when he gets off his bike… Its must be the helmets and vintage jackets ;D
Without a doubt DrJ has the largest and most extensive collection of vintage lids and jackets in the Ontario area… Some speculators argue that its the largest in Canada. Either way, armed with a collection to die for and the historical & technical knowledge it only makes sense to have DrJ mod this section of the forum for us…
So... Although Tim and I will always say that its the members that make DTT the great success that it is today, it can certaily be said that is the mods that help organize and shape the forum.
Dont hesitate to drop a PM to these guys with any feedback about changes or suggestions that you guys may have to make DTT a better place to hang...
NEWEST EDITION to the DTT MOD Team:
WOW.. out of nowhere, a tsunami of new DTT Members out of PA, all attributed to VonYinzer and go!
It only made sense to put up a regional PA section and have VonYinzer moderate tthe section!!.. Welcome to the admin man!!
- now Mike.. go get a Bandit helmet, and the DDT standard issue "I Love locO leoN" tattoo ;D
