HaHa....that's not quite the same as being there, although far and away better than not seeing it at all. I believe William has broken bones, but it could have been worse.
Let me guess you were there. 
Probably a little shorter trip than what I would have but hey Velocity was the next best thing.
That trip is actually on my bucket list.
Hope to get over there one day and ship a bike over or just buy one there to ride around.

Yes CK, I was there.....in fact am there every year. Been 25 times now, and will be going till I drop, I love it. Watch the ample you-tube footage of the racing and you will start to understand the appeal. Imagine sitting on the side of the road as riders doing 170 or more, pass within a few feet of you. There really is nothing to compare in my opinion, short of being the rider I guess.
The atmosphere on the island during TT fortnight is just great, a biking paradise.....I can't recommend the experience enough. Go.
